We wanted to test a device’s ability to bring people together, so we created a social experiment throughout NYC. We set a Samsung Galaxy homescreen with simple instructions: to take a photo and pass it on to someone else. We secretly followed the device around town and shared the images on the Samsung Mobile Instagram account.
